Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to work safely in confined spaces and operate respiratory protective equipment as per AS/NZS 2865:2009 (Confined Spaces). This training is suitable for employees who are required to enter confined spaces for maintenance, servicing or vessels etc with an irrespirable atmosphere.   


Dangerous Goods - TLILIC001 - Licence to transport dangerous goods by road

Our Dangerous Goods (TLILIC0001 - Licence to transport dangerous goods by road)  course covers all aspects of the ADG Code together with relevant legislation, including Dangerous Goods classifications, placarding, stowage/load restraint, segregation and compatibility, emergency procedures and licencing requirements. In addition, it covers the responsibilities of drivers, consignors, owners and other personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods

DRUG TESTING - HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

This course unit describes the skills and knowledge required to confirm collection requirements, prepare client and equipment and collect specimens via urine and/or oral and breath testing following the special procedures that apply for drugs of abuse testing. 


FIRE - Fire Safety Awareness

This training course is designed to teach employees what safe and active fire prevention is, and how to respond to a fire if one should occur. It also covers emergency evacuation procedures and how to assess whether you should tackle a fire yourself or not.

FIRE - PUAWER005B - Operate as part of an emergency control organisation (Emergency Warden)

This programme has been developed for personnel required to respond to an emergency situation and act as a member of a workplace emergency control organisation. The unit of competency is not industry specific and can be adapted to suit all workplaces.

FIRE - PUAWER006B - Lead an emergency control organisation (Chief Warden)

This training program provides candidates with the skills and knowledge required to make decisions about people’s safety during a workplace emergency and to give instructions and lead the emergency control organisation. This program has been developed for personnel that have been designated as the emergency control organisation’s Chief Warden.


 

FIRE - PUAWER008B - Confine small workplace emergencies (Fire and Workplace Emergencies)

This program has been developed for personnel who may be required to undertake first response to small workplace emergencies. The unit of competency is not industry specific and can be adapted to suit all workplaces. This program covers a range of emergencies that could be expected in the workplace using initial response equipment, including small fire, chemical and liquid spills.

FIRST AID - HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, and applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

 


FIRST AID - HLTAID003 Provide First Aid


This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty and describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

Prerequisites
Pre-reading must be undertaken prior to attending the course. You will be sent a copy of the course text and associated quiz to be completed prior to attending.

FIRST AID - HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations

This course delivers the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation, and applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

 


FIRST AID - HLTAID007 Provide advanced resuscitation

This course is designed for workers who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Learners are expected to be experienced First Aid workers requiring upskilling to perform higher level first aid response.

FIRST AID - HLTAID008 Manage first aid services and resources

The HLTAID008 - Manage first aid services and resources course provides the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace.


Specific licensing requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training, should be obtained from the relevant state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authority.


FIRST AID - HLTAIDSS00027 Occupational First Aid Skill Set


The Occupational first Aid course is a national skills set (HLTSS00027 - Occupational first aid skill set) which provides a set of skills to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in a workplace environment, including the skills to provide an emergency first aid response in the event of an emergency.


FIRST AID - LVR UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a Live LV Panel inc CPR

Our nationally accredited Perform rescue from a Live LV Panel (UETTDRRF06B) course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to an electrical emergency using a low voltage rescue kit and perform (CPR) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID001) on a casualty who has stopped breathing. Suitable for electricians needing a CPR/LVR certificate.


HAZARD - Hazardous Area Awareness

Baseline's Hazardous Area Awareness course covers environments where gases, vapours, mists and dusts occur in dangerous quantities. These areas are then classified as hazardous areas and requiring precaution by those who operate in these areas. People need to be  adequately protected and trained, so as to reduce the likelihood of the ignition of an explosive atmosphere. (Non-Accredited Training)

Heights - Height Safety Awareness

This introductory workshop will provide participants with an awareness of the necessary requirements to perform tasks safely at heights including fall protection equipment, risk management, Legislative obligations and Australian / New Zealand Standards.


HEIGHTS - RIIWHS204D - Work Safely at Heights

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely work at height or depth utilising various forms of fall protection. This training is suitable for any personnel required to perform tasks from heights or depths and is compliant to AS/NZS1891 Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices. This course complies with the core training & assessment elements for a height safety operator.   

HEIGHTS - Tower Rescue

Participants who have previous experience in working at heights (obtained RIIWHS204D) and who wish develop an ability to perform a tower rescue.  Within this course the skills and knowledge to participate in rescue operations as a member of a rescue team and support specialist rescue operations will be explored in conjunction with providing emergency care pending the arrive of appropriately qualified personnel.  
 


HSR - Health & Safety Representative

The course is intended to assist HSRs understand their roles and functions as to how the WHS legislation will influence health and safety outcomes in their workplace. The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil their role as HSRs. From the 1st of July, 2018, all elected HSRs are required under the WHS Act to attend this training.

Baseline Training is approved by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to deliver this Health and Safety Representative Course in Queensland.

HSR - Health & Safety Representative (Refresher)

Welcome as a participant in the one day Refresher Training course for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) under the QLD Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation. The course meets the requirements of the WHS Regulations for HSRs elected under the WHS Act. The WHS Act commenced on 1 January 2012. The WHS Act and WHS Regulation provide a national WHS legal framework from which the states, territories and the Commonwealth are required to implement their own WHS legislation.

Baseline Training is approved by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to deliver this Health and Safety Representative Course in Queensland.

Manual Handling Awareness (Online)

Developed in conjunction with industry experts Advantage Injury Management Services (AIMS), this training course is designed to teach employees how to correctly identify, plan, and perform manual handling tasks in and looks in detail at the effects of improper manual handling.

Maritime Security Guard

The Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act states that all Maritime Security Guards (MSG) are required by law to undertake specific training to comply with the Act. This syllabus enables MSG’s to understand their powers, roles and responsibilities as prescribed within the MTOFSA.

Baseline Training Pty Ltd offers a special half-day ISPS Code compliant Maritime Security Guard (MSG) Training Program. This training is best suited to Maritime Security Guards working within the Maritime industry. The Maritime Security Guard course is a non-accredited course.

Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO)

Baseline Training offers a practical 2-day specialised Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Training Program tailored to Australian Legislation and the specific needs of staff working in Australian Ports and Port Facilities. Baseline also offers a half-day refresher course designed to get PFSO delegates up to speed with your knowledge and any changes to the legislation since initial training.

All personnel involved in maritime and port security activities are required by law to undertake training to comply with the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Regulations 2003. ( Regulation 1.25(4)(b) and Regulation 3.115)

Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Refresher

All personnel involved in maritime and port security activities are required by law to undertake training to comply with the Maritime Transport & Offshore Facilities Security Act (The Act).

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to work safely in confined spaces and operate respiratory protective equipment as per AS/NZS 2865:2009 (Confined Spaces). This training is suitable for employees who are required to enter confined spaces for maintenance, servicing or vessels etc with an irrespirable atmosphere.

Pre-requisites
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit is the pre-requisite for MSMPER205 Enter confined space. The assessment activities integrate all unit requirements and all competencies must be achieved before a statement of attainment is issued.

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely use and operate respiratory protective equipment. This training is suited to all personnel required to wear respiratory protective equipment to work in a confined space or an irrespirable atmosphere.

 

Short Course - MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely use and operate single or multi-gas detection instruments. This training is suitable for any personnel required to enter areas where there is a risk of atmospheric hazards.

Standard 11 - Generic Induction Coal Surface

GIQ Coal Surface (Standard 11) – Full Course
The Standard 11 course provides training and assessment for the Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII) Units of Competency which are specified in Recognised Standard 11, Training in Coal Mines Qld Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999. It will provide experienced and inexperienced workers with a pathway to enter into the mining industry.

Standard 11 - Generic Induction Coal Surface (REFRESHER)

VEHICLES - PMASUP236 Operate Vehicles In the Field


Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely operate vehicles in the field including remote locations under a range of conditions. This unit is suitable for personnel who may be required to patrol areas across a variety of terrains looking for problems which require maintenance or reporting.

WHITE CARD - CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry


CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry course contains the unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work. The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.
