Pre-requisites
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit is the pre-requisite for MSMPER205 Enter confined space. The assessment activities integrate all unit requirements and all competencies must be achieved before a statement of attainment is issued.
Introduction
Targeted Audience
There are no formal entry requirements stipulated for this training programme; however participants are required to possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Training package requirements stipulate that a candidate must be able to:
- Read and interpret workplace documentation
- Speak clearly and unambiguously in English
- Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms

Participants must be clean shaven. The unit of competency, MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus
States that students use equipment according to procedures including all relevant workplace procedures, work instructions, temporary instructions and relevant industry and government codes and standards. The unit of competency also requires candidates to conduct all assessments in accordance with In accordance with AS/NZ 1715, AS/NZ 1716. AS/NZ 1715 requires users to be clean shaven.

Assessment
The assessment for this programme has been designed to assess a person’s competence in accordance with the Manufacturing Training Package (MSA07), AS2865:2009 and the proprietary requirements of the organisation or workplace. The assessment will consist of both a written and practical component.
- 2 Day course
- Classroom based.
- Our Pinkenba facility (inc Lunch & free parking) or your onsite location.)
- Delivery can consist of face to face, and practical simulations.
