HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations

HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations

This course delivers the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation, and applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

There are many of us who venture into the outback or even just out our backdoor in the bush. Living, working, or traveling in remote areas of Australia brings enormous challenges; particularly in medical emergencies.

Baseline Training offers Remote First Aid training  to those who requiring the skills and knowledge that are necessary to competently provide life support and first aid in emergency situations where medical help may not be readily available, as in remote regions.
