This training course is designed to teach employees what safe and active fire prevention is, and how to respond to a fire if one should occur. It also covers emergency evacuation procedures and how to assess whether you should tackle a fire yourself or not.

NOTE: This is not a nationally accredited programme, and therefore NO "statement of attainment" is issued.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this program, participants will be able to:

- How to assess fire risks and prevent fires
- How to reduce the risks of fire in the workplace
- What to do when there is a fire in the workplace
- What the main types of fire extinguishers are and how to use them properly
- What to do when there is an emergency evacuation

Learning Methods
Assessment
There is no assessment for this programme as it is not a Nationally Accredited programme.
- 1/2 Day course
- Classroom based.
- Our Pinkenba facility (free parking) or your onsite location
- Delivery can consist of face to face, and practical simulations.
