This is a requirement of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 Division 2 s.56 [Competencies of Supervisors] and of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 Division 2 s.51

These competencies are required to be refreshed at least every 5 years as per Part 11 [Training] Regulation 84 [Refresher training] of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017 (QLD).

Baseline's Standard 11 course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to continue to work on a surface coal mine site across Queensland. The course provides participants knowledge across the six key competencies required to maintain the common safety practices of Coal Mines.
 
Entry Requirements:
The candidate must have completed a previous Standard 11 course initial course and present evidence of attainment, current CV and Position Description which demonstrates industry experience upon enrolment.

Certificate II in Security Operations

This qualification reflects the role of a security officer, responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling, protecting or guarding property while unarmed, and screening entry, monitoring behaviour and removing persons from premises.

This qualification is intended to align with the following occupational licencing outcomes:

 Occupational titles could include:
