CONFINED SPACE TRAINING

Confined Space Training

Do you work, or are you responsible for people who work in confined spaces?

If so, it’s important you understand the safety responsibilities, as it has the real potential to be a dangerous activity. Whether you work in construction, maintenance or within resources industries, every employee and employer needs to understand and adhere to the regulations designed to prevent accidents and injury.

A confined space is officially defined as an enclosed or partially enclosed space such as (but not limited to) a storage tank, shafts, pits, pressure vessels, pipe, silos, boilers and underground sewers.

In confined space situations where someone is at risk of injury, there must be precautions in place to ensure that the worker or any persons have taken reasonable steps to mitigate any risks involved.
