Our nationally accredited Tower Rescue Training Course is designed for personnel who may be required to perform rescues from towers, guyed masts, cranes, bridges and other similar platforms.

This Tower Rescue course is intended for participants who have previous experience in working at heights (i.e. obtained RIIWHS204D). Participants will learn the skills and knowledge required to perform and support rescue operations as a member of a rescue team. They will also learn how to provide emergency c

Students must have completed, within the past 2 years, RIIWHS204D – Safe working at heights, prior to commencement of this course and present proof of attainment.


There are no formal entry requirements stipulated for this programme; however participants must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. Participants are required to:

  • Report potential risks and hazards
  • Consultation with authorised personnel
  • Comply with relevant documentation, policies and procedures
  • Completion of required workplace documentation
  • Interpret and comply with equipment manufacturer’s instructions and specifications

On completion of this program, participants will be able to:
